Idea Process

Make a square by four lines.

Make one more square and overlap it on the first one by rotate one line a little bit (5 degrees).

Repeat to make a big circle.

Take away 2 adjacent lines of each square.

As for one unit which has 2 lines, keep the length of the line rotating to be a circle and change the length of the other line from short to long gradually.
-
Make more units to have 2 leaf shapes.
